This course is modular and upon conclusion will equip students to identify, recruit, manage and where appropriate disengage from a source. Students will be taken along a development pathway dependant on their existing skill base.

This course has been designed to equip students with the vital knowledge required to keep them and their Humint / CHIS sources safe whilst deployed in the field. (students will learn how to employ anti and counter surveillance techniques on foot and in vehicles)
1.3 Humint / CHIS Management CourseIntelligence based courses
This course has been designed for senior operational personnel engaged in intelligence management with focus on Humint / CHIS. Topics include; principles of intelligence (collection and sharing) accountability, audit mechanisms, International law, domestic law, risk management, reviews and record keeping. The course will equip managers to authorize the use and conduct of Humint / CHIS sources within a proven framework.
1.4 Intelligence Officer’s CourseIntelligence based courses
This course has been designed to equip students to research intelligence on both domestic and Chenega systems. Students will understand best practice with regard to intelligence research techniques, intelligence processing and pro-active record keeping, intelligence grading and dissemination.
1.5 Collators CourseIntelligence based courses
This course is designed for students who perform an intelligence collation function that feeds into formal analysis of information / intelligence of their organization. A collator is the link between police departments, collecting information and briefing both up and down the chain of command.
1.6 Information and Evidence CourseIntelligence based courses
This course examines the relationship between investigative and intelligence function showing how intelligence differs from evidence. The course will enable students to become more forensically aware with regard to crime scene preservation and exhibits.
1.7 Operational Security Managers CourseInvestigative based courses
This course has been designed to enable students at management level to review and advise on information / intelligence protection, dissemination and security related issues involved in police reactive operations.
1.8 Operational Security Practices CourseInvestigative based courses
This course has been designed to assist students understand the importance of protectively marking documents and other forms of communication, knowing what protective markings mean, safe storage of documents, desk policies and open source and social media awareness.
